In an emergency call 999 and ask for the Coastguard

Just over £1200 was raised from the Easter fair  and sales in the shop held at Whitstable Lifeboat Station on Good Friday.

The Easter fair has been a traditional event in the  station’s calendar for many years and Friday’s event  was the first to be held following the death of long standing branch chairman Diane Lamberton.
Interim branch chairman Diane Randall said “I thought it went very well being the first after the death of Diane and we were very busy with a good number of customers and visitors. We had all our usual stalls and games for children, hot cross buns from ‘the galley’ and the lifeboat was on display outside the boathouse. The event was as ever very well supported and my thanks go to all our customers and volunteers who supported the event”.
